Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [Company legal name] (“ReelShortAI”, “we”) for your use of ReelShortAI, a service that creates video ads with AI-generated presenters (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for a company, you agree on its behalf.

1. The Service

You provide product information (for example a website or app store link, text, images and screen recordings) and we generate scripts, voices and videos featuring AI-generated presenters (“Outputs”). The presenters are synthetic; they are not real people and have not used your product.

2. You are the advertiser

You are solely responsible for the ads you create and publish with the Service, including every claim in them. You agree that:

• you have a reasonable basis and evidence for every objective claim in your ads;
• your ads comply with applicable law, including the FTC Act, the FTC's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) and its rule on consumer reviews and testimonials (16 CFR Part 465), state consumer-protection and synthetic-performer laws, and the policies of every platform where you run them;
• you will add any disclosures required by law or by the platforms you advertise on, including AI-content labels;
• you have the rights to everything you upload or link, and permission to use it in ads.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service or its Outputs to:

• create fake reviews or testimonials, or present an AI presenter as a real customer or as someone who has used your product;
• post Outputs as organic customer reviews on review sites, marketplaces or app stores;
• impersonate, or imitate the likeness or voice of, any real person;
• make false, misleading or unsubstantiated claims, including misleading before/after, health, financial or earnings claims;
• advertise illegal products or services, or anything prohibited by the platforms you advertise on;
• create content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or targets children;
• interfere with, reverse engineer or overload the Service, or resell it without our permission.

The Service includes a script checker that flags some problematic claims. It is a help, not legal review: it doesn't catch everything, and passing it doesn't make an ad compliant.

4. Your content and Outputs

You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us a license to use it to run and improve the Service for you. Subject to these terms and payment, you may use the Outputs you create for your own advertising. Because Outputs are generated by AI, similar outputs may be produced for others, and we don't guarantee that Outputs are unique or protectable.

Posting for you. If you connect a social account, you authorise us to publish the videos you schedule to it, with the caption you approved and the platform's AI-generated label. You are responsible for what you post, for following each platform's rules, and for disclosures the law or the platform requires (for example that content is an advertisement). You can disconnect an account at any time.

5. Credits, payment and cancellation

• The Service is paid; there is no free tier. Videos use credits: one credit is fifteen seconds of Standard video, and other quality levels cost more per fifteen seconds, as shown in the app. The credit cost is shown before you start.
• If a generation fails, its credits are refunded to your balance automatically.
• Trial. The paid trial gives you a fixed number of credits for a fixed number of days for a one-time fee, once per customer. Unless you cancel before it ends, it becomes the plan you chose, charged at that plan's price on the day the trial ends. We email you before that happens. Unused trial credits carry over into the plan.
• Rollover. Unused credits roll over while you are subscribed, up to two months of your plan's credits in total; credits above that are not added. Yearly plans receive their credits month by month.
• Cancelling. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing page, effective at the end of the period you paid for. Remaining credits stay usable for 30 days after that period ends, then lapse. If you cancel within 24 hours of a plan's first charge and have used no credits since that charge, we refund it in full.
• Payments are processed by Stripe, which is the merchant of record and handles applicable taxes. Prices may change with notice to you.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts, and remove content, that break these terms or put us, our providers or others at legal risk. You can close your account at any time.

7. Disclaimers

The Service and Outputs are provided “as is”. AI-generated content can be inaccurate. We don't promise any advertising result.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your ads, your content, or your breach of these terms, including claims by regulators, platforms or consumers about the claims in your ads.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are material we will tell you before they take effect.
