Privacy Policy

This policy explains what [Company legal name] (“ReelShortAI”, “we”) collects when you use ReelShortAI, and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account: name, email, and a password (stored hashed) or your Google profile if you sign in with Google.
• Your content: product links and the pages we read from them, product briefs, images, screen recordings, scripts, avatars you create, and the videos we generate.
• Billing: plan, credits and payment status. Card details are handled by Stripe; we don't store them.
• Connected social accounts (optional): if you connect TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or YouTube so we can post for you, we store the account's name and ID, the access tokens the platform gives us (encrypted), and a record of what we posted and when. We use them only to post the videos you schedule. You can disconnect an account at any time, which deletes the tokens.
• Calendar and results: the posts you schedule, their captions, and any numbers you type in about how they did.
• Usage and diagnostics: which features you use, generation logs, error reports, and basic device and browser information.

How we use it

• to provide the Service: import your product, write scripts, generate voices and videos, and store your work;
• to charge for and refund credits, and to support you;
• to keep the Service safe, including checking scripts and avatar descriptions against our rules;
• to post videos to your connected social accounts, only when you schedule a post and ask us to;
• to fix bugs and improve the Service.

The videos we make are AI-generated. When we post one for you, we set the platform's AI-generated label (TikTok, Instagram and YouTube provide one; on Facebook we say so in the description).

We don't sell your personal information.

Service providers

We share data with providers that run parts of the Service for us:

• Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Cloudflare R2 (file storage), Trigger.dev (background jobs);
• Anthropic (scripts, briefs and checks), fal (image and video generation), ElevenLabs (voices);
• Stripe (payments), Google (sign-in), Sentry (error reports), Resend (email);
• TikTok, Meta (Instagram and Facebook) and Google (YouTube), only for accounts you connect, to post on your behalf. Each platform's own terms and privacy policy apply to what happens on the platform.

Content you submit for generation is sent to the AI providers above to produce your Outputs.

Cookies

We use cookies needed to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.

Retention

We keep your account and content while your account is open. When you close it, we delete or anonymize your data within [period], except where we must keep it (for example billing records).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to some uses. Email [legal@reelshortai.com] and we will respond within the time the law requires.

Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.
